You can choose how a single link distributes traffic using the “Distribution Type” dropdown.
Conditional A/B Test #
This mode allows you to send users to different destination URLs based on specific rules. If a user matches a rule, they are sent to the URL(s) in that rule. If they don’t match any, they are sent to the “Default URL.”
Available Conditions:
- Device: Is Desktop, Is Tablet, Is Mobile
- Operating System: Windows, Mac, Android, iOS, Ubuntu, Linux, etc.
- Country: Based on the visitor’s 2-letter country code (e.g., US, CA, GB). You can enter multiple codes separated by commas.
- Browser: Is Chrome, Is Firefox, Is Safari, Is Edge, Is Other
- Referrer/UTM: Sends the user if their referring URL contains a specific string (e.g., facebook.com or utm_source=email).
A/B Test (Split Testing): Within any rule (including the “Default URL”), you can add multiple destination URLs. The plugin will automatically rotate through this list, sending each new user to the next URL in the list. This allows you to split-test which landing page converts best for a specific segment.
